Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering
The Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology Engineering was established in the academic year (2023-2024) to prepare engineering cadres with scientific and practical experience. The department receives students who graduate from preparatory studies for the scientific stream, in addition to graduates of institutes and industrial preparatory schools.
Department vision:
The department’s vision is to advance the fields of knowledge in the theoretical and scientific aspect of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and methods of operating, installing and maintaining them, leading to the creation of scientific competencies in this specialty after obtaining the certificate. As well as developing the capabilities of teachers in the precise specialization of our department in a way that suits the scientific vocabulary and proficient training of laboratory equipment for cooling systems in the department’s laboratories.

Training and developing students of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology Engineering Department and preparing them as advanced engineering cadres to provide state institutions with them and benefit from their scientific and practical experience in the field of operating, installing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems in all governmental and non-governmental sectors.
Department objectives:
Providing the community with engineers with extensive experience in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology engineering.
Developing the student’s mentality by training him on how to conduct scientific research in solving problems related to refrigeration and air conditioning
Establishing training programs and courses in industrial facilities for the purpose of scientific exchange and theoretical and scientific compatibility.
Scientific communication for students and teaching staff with what the world has achieved in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration through the Internet, conducting research and participating in conferences and scientific programs.
