About the department:
Historical overview:
The Department of Business Administration is one of the basic pillars of Al-Imam University College / Balad and one of the leading departments in it. The department was established in the year (2010) when (105) were accepted, then after the number began to increase until it reached (200) students accepted into the Department of Business Administration.
The duration of study is four years, after which the graduating student is awarded a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences. One of the most important achievements achieved by this department is that it has significantly raised the level of education and established its position as a new path in higher education to work on preparing the technical frameworks that economic development programs need.
Department vision:
Achieving leadership in building successful human and business organizations, and qualifying graduates of the department to work in various administrative and economic fields
Department message:
Preparing managers to manage business organizations in a manner compatible with the needs of the Iraqi labor market
Department objectives:
The Department of Business Administration aims to provide students with basic knowledge to meet the various needs of the labor market
Providing students with work ethics (honesty, honesty, sincerity)
Providing the student with the skills that enable him to self-educate and build himself, and give him a cognitive advantage that enables him to build his future
Fields of work for graduate students:
Providing the opportunity for graduates to work in various fields in economic and service business organizations in the banking sectors, ministries, official and informal government bodies, and establishing and managing medium and small-sized private projects.
Department outputs:
Knowledge of concepts in management theories and principles
Cognitive skills, the ability to intellectual analysis, and creativity in solving problems that may be encountered
The skill of dealing with others, building bridges of love and communication, and building good relationships with everyone
Ability to use communication techniques, information technology, numerical skills and communicate effectively orally and in writing
