About the department:
The Medical Device Technology Engineering Department was established in the academic year (2023-2024) to prepare engineering cadres with scientific and practical experience. The department receives students who graduate from the scientific branch of preparatory study, the biological and applied scientific branch, in addition to graduates of institutes and industrial preparatory schools. The specialty of medical device technology engineering is considered one of the modern specializations that revolves around the design and development of medical devices and tools used in treatment, diagnosis, monitoring and medical analysis, and it is considered one of the most important departments that work To provide technical and technical support to medical institutions and health centres. The duration of study in the department is four years, during which the student receives the scientific aspects related to medical devices and their practical applications on the path of his department’s goals. To be qualified to work in all industrial and medical fields, graduate students have the right to complete their graduate studies in one of the government or international colleges.

3- Giving the graduate the ability to have detailed knowledge of all modern technologies in the field of medical device engineering.
4- Providing students with sufficient skill to make the necessary updates regarding medical devices.
5- Expanding vertically towards creating a postgraduate program to obtain master’s and doctoral degrees.
